Habits

Difference equips children with three formational habits that can transform everyday relationships. Pupils grow their understanding of the habits as they progress through primary school, with each key stage exploring specific themes and questions.

Be Curious – Community

Listen to others’ stories and see the world through their eyes.

Every person is made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27)

"We’re embedding the habits in everything – from belonging policies to curriculum plans. This is how we build a future-proof school culture."
Headteacher, England
"The Difference habits offer a brilliant framework for exploring difference. They helped our teachers challenge the status quo and embrace the beauty of our unique experiences – especially important in a county like ours that lacks visible diversity."
Headteacher, England
“Our kids are very aware of the history of our country, and it’s been great to create a culture of belonging, a safe space to talk without fear.”
Teacher, South Africa
“Being present means that you really listen to someone and you care about what they are saying. You don’t have to agree but you can try and understand their point of view.”
